How much do I charge to fit power assisted steering to a 101?
£750 + parts [usually from £100 to £450]
How long does it take?
I would need your vehicle for up to 10 clear working days [to allow time for parts to arrive and be made up]
What is involved?
- You would need to purchase the second hand parts before I start [I would provide a list of these for you]
- I can purchase all new parts for the job eg. Hydraulic and oil return hoses
- You would need to provide a deposit of 50 percent of the balance clear to my bank account by the start date or in cash when you drop off your vehicle
- You would need to ensure that your vehicle is provided in a clean state [not caked in mud under the chassis etc - as this makes it difficult for me to work on the vehicle, I will charge you if I have to get it pressure washed]
- You would need to bring your vehicle to my address in Nottingham
- I would then complete the work and telephone you to confirm completion date and time
- You would need to make the final payment either to my account or in cash on collection of your vehicle
- You would find it very easy to manoeuvre and drive your vehicle home
